Pro skier and adventurer, Kalen Thorien, joins professional paraglider, kayaker, skier, and Frenchman, Romain Raisson, to explore the area's Triglav National Park. Known for its emerald green waters, perfect paragliding conditions and jagged mountain peaks, the duo explore 260km of the country by e-bike, via ferrata, packraft and paraglide, staying in remote refuges and bivouacs along the way. An unspoiled mecca for outdoor lovers, Slovenia offers every kind of multisport adventure imaginable—whether in the air, on land or in the water. With a rich history, a vibrant culture and a passion for the outdoors, it is easy to see why those who visit instantly fall in love with Slovenia. 

Maine is the ultimate multi-sport destination. It’s rare to find a world class kayak and hiking destination with such significant history and cultural heritage. Pro skier and adventurer, Kalen Thorien, and ultra-runner, Alex Borsuk, set out to explore the rugged terrain of Maine’s eastern shoreline. The duo sea kayaked and adventure camped on their way to Isle au Haut, where they circumnavigated the island in their own fashions. Kalen went by sea, paddling 15 miles, and Alex by foot, running 30 technical trail miles.

Twenty-two year old Swede, Lovisa Rosengren, chooses Gulmarg, Kashmir as her dream trip spot with Cody Townsend and Kalen Thorien. What was supposed to be a cultural trip, turns into so much more when a 3 meter storm rolls through the resort.

Kalen Thorien, a professional skier and adventurer, decided to spend her summer on a 270 mile, 18 day, solo high traverse in the Sierra Nevada, a mountain range in the Western United States. Your immediate question is probably “Why?”, well, Kalen probably says it best, “We spend a lot of time seeking answers, hoping for outside forces to propel us into an elevated realm of thinking, the simplicity of a walk in the woods can provide the impermanence that we so often overlook. Out there it is uncluttered and simplified.”

The only thing greater than this group of skiers' desire to claim a first ski descent on Greenland's second highest peak is the size of their carbon footprint to get there. Loaded with guilt, they decide to bring along renowned glaciologist, Alun Hubbard, whose hypothesis, if proven, could rewrite popular projections of global sea-level rise. However, the entire expedition is put in question when they arrive in Greenland and discover their objective is beyond the range of all available aircraft.
